Ontario Power Authority (OPA)

The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) plays a unique role in Ontario’s electricity sector by  coordinating province-wide conservation efforts, planning the electricity system for the long term, and contracting for clean electricity resources. It was established by the Electricity Act of 2004 and plays a vital role in the planning and future of Ontario’s energy resources.

Solar and Sustainable Energy Society of Canada Inc.

Established in 1974, the Solar Energy Society of Canada Inc. (SESCI) – now Solar and Sustainable Energy Society of Canada Inc. is a non-profit organization and is the only National level NGO that is registered with charitable status in its field. mission is to advance the use and awareness of solar and sustainable energy in Canada. SESCI also has an international voice as the Canadian section of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES).

 

North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP)

The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is the “gold standard” for PV and Solar Heating Installation and PV Technical Sales Certification. It  is the most respected, well-established, and widely recognized certification organization for North American solar professionals. Raising industry standards and promoting consumer confidence, NABCEP offers certification and certificate programs to renewable energy professionals throughout North America.
